This one is pretty undeniable. This is what Disney and Nickelodeon are pumping into your kids subconscience.

Here we go again with the same stupid plot line! Why? Why does Hollywood think that every other horror movie has to be about an abused/molested kid that comes back in some bizarre manner to kill people? The Ring, Dark Water, Silent Hill, Hide and Seek and about 10 others so crappy I can't even remember their titles weren't enough - we had to get this stinker.

Besides being unscary, predictable and ridiculous - I kept wondering what I was meant to take from this plot that keeps getting rammed down my throat? Was it that christians are all charlatans and nuts - like the ones portrayed in all of these movies? Whatever stupid point THEY are trying to sledgehammer into our skulls - just be sure that THEY are doing just that. All these movies having the same basic plot is no coincidence.

Personally, I don't really find a 5 year old ghost too scary. I'd tell it to go away before I spanked it.

After sitting there stonefaced for everyone who showed even the slightest modicum of humor - the two judges proceeded to laugh at some black guy spouting white guy stereotypes (who wasn't even funny at doing it) and then acted like these two goobers who sang and made fun of christians were just hysterical. I couldn't help but wonder if old Belzer would be laughing so hard at someone wearing a little beanie doing bagel jokes? Or would he have been outraged? NBC would be picketed and labeled antisemetic. I turned it off after about 5 minutes.

I met Belzer when he was on Homocide. Maybe the single biggest jackasses I've ever met. A hatemonger impersonating an actor/comic. He obviously hasn't changed.

Why the double standard NBC? You aired a show that was written, produced and starred jews that totally attacked Christians. I don't see any Christians attacking Jews. Why the hate agenda?

“War of the Worlds” radio broadcast of Orson Welles was more than just an inspired and infamous prank—it was a deliberate experiment in mass panic, funded by the Rockefeller Foundation.

Sixty-seven years ago, six million Americans became unwitting subjects in an experiment in psychological warfare. It was the night before Halloween, 1938. At 8 p.m. CST, the Mercury Radio on the Air began broadcasting Orson Welles' radio adaptation of H. G. Wells' War of the Worlds. As is now well known, the story was presented as if it were breaking news, with bulletins so realistic that an estimated one million people believed the world was actually under attack by Martians. Of that number, thousands succumbed to outright panic, not waiting to hear Welles' explanation at the end of the program that it had all been a Halloween prank, but fleeing into the night to escape the alien invaders.

"Psychologist Hadley Cantril conducted a study of the effects of the broadcast and published his findings in a book, The Invasion from Mars: A Study in the Psychology of Panic. This study explored the power of broadcast media, particularly as it relates to the suggestibility of human beings under the influence of fear. Cantril was affiliated with Princeton University's Radio Research Project, which was funded in 1937 by the Rockefeller Foundation. Also affiliated with the Project was Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member and Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) executive Frank Stanton, whose network had broadcast the program. Stanton would later go on to head the news division of CBS, and in time would become president of the network, as well as chairman of the board of the RAND Corporation, the influential think tank which has done groundbreaking research on, among other things, mass brainwashing. Two years later, with Rockefeller Foundation money, Cantril established the Office of Public Opinion Research (OPOR), also at Princeton. Among the studies conducted by the OPOR was an analysis of the effectiveness of "psycho-political operations" (propaganda, in plain English) of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the forerunner of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Then, during World War II, Cantril and Rockefeller money assisted CFR member and CBS reporter Edward R. Murrow in setting up the Princeton Listening Center, the purpose of which was to study Nazi radio propaganda with the object of applying Nazi techniques to OSS propaganda. Out of this project came a new government agency, the Foreign Broadcast Intelligence Service (FBIS). The FBIS eventually became the United States Information Agency (USIA), which is the propaganda arm of the National Security Council. Thus, by the end of the 1940s, the basic research had been done and the propaganda apparatus of the national security state had been set up--just in time for the Dawn of Television."

If you watch all 3 parts of this video - there is no denying that Led Zeppelin were steeped in the occult and that they were attempting to invoke and honor satan with their music. Part 2 shows Page summoning satan on stage. Nowadays there are many bands that flat out state they are satanist - and their fans are mostly a pack of unbathed maggots with rings in their eyebrows and tattooes on their foreheads. But think of all the goobery straight laced "normal" people out there who think Led Zeppelin are great and have zero idea what they are actually listening to and being programmed by. Since its in the mainstream and played ad nauseam on the radio - they never give it a thought.

I don't know how much music can actually effect people - but I think probably the answer is - tremendously. They don't sing in church for nothin. Music can tame the savage beast (or bring it out). Go to a rave once if you want to see drug induced possession by music. You can put people in a trance with the right music. Rap is a lifestyle. The Blues can make you suicidal. Ever notice you can remember lyrics to a song you haven't heard in years? It's like it's all programmed in there.

You say subliminal messages have no real effect? Then why do they put them in stop smoking and diet tapes that you're supposed to listen to while you sleep? And many say they work! Who knows how great and powerful music mixed with sublime (and sometimes subliminal) messages can effect our thinking, actions and even beliefs? I say - screw em for trying. If you see it for what it is - it has to have a diminished effect - unless of course you're an evil moron who's inviting and welcoming disaster upon yourself.

The Outer Limits was one of the most trippin shows ever. The original show only ran for 49 episodes during two seasons 1963 - 65.  It's pretty hard to come by in reruns anymore - they want you to go buy the dvds. There was a Showtime remake in the 90's that wasn't half as good - you need to seek out the classic originals to get the full mindwarp effect.
